Both physicians. Both dreamers. What started as meeting on the first day of medical school became a love story neither of us ever expected — and one we never want to end.
Shriya grew up in Edison, New Jersey and pursued her passion for medicine at the University of Miami. She specializes in ENT and, when she's not in the OR, loves scuba diving and cuddling with her puppy Kal.
David grew up in Nicaragua and moved to the US when he was eight years old, settling in Florida. He attended the University of Miami for medical school and now specializes in Ophthalmology.
We met on the very first day of medical school at the University of Miami, sorted into the same academic society during orientation. Some things are just meant to be.
January 8th, 2020 -- just before the world shut down. A walk on the beach where David cracked open a coconut with a rock so Shriya could drink from it. Not exactly fine dining, but it worked.
March 15th, 2026, back on the beach where it all started. He got down on one knee, and everything changed.
